FIFA16’s Mega Announcement!
With Fifa 16 scheduled for release on 23rd of September this year, fans around the world have been hoping and praying for fixes to the online modes and some additional content in the forms of UEFA Champions League career mode, some better AI and ridding the game of its horrid changes to FIFA Ultimate Team game mode.
However, for those of you following the Fifa16 Facebook page, you already know that the first thrilling feature to the game is not what was expected. Instead of UEFA Champions League, we have been gifted with National Womens Teams. Available teams in FIFA 16 will be Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Sweden and USA.
Although this is something a game may require (I think gender equality is something that has come a long way in the recent years), this is definitely not what the community wanted to hear and I hope EA are watching the comments of the announcement closely. They need to focus on what the community wants.
The news also gave a little information towards some of the graphical improvements to the game, most notable is the new 3D-Modelling and Life-like Head Scans allowing for some more authentic facial expressions when scoring those goals.
There is still quite a bit of time until the release of the game, hopefully some more impressive news floats out to the fans at E3 next month.
What are your thought’s on the next step in the FIFA franchise? Let us know in the comments below!
